President Trump on Monday announced that he spoke to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and that he is finally going to comply with federal authorities to apprehend criminal illegal aliens in the state of Minnesota.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hours after announcing<\/a> that Tom Homan will travel to Minnesota tonight, Trump said Walz called him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump continued, \u201cHe was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I!\u201d<\/p>\n

This is a reversal from Walz\u2019s previous attacks on federal agents deployed to Minneapolis, when he called for continued chaos and declared<\/a>\u00a0that he\u2019s \u201ccreating a log of evidence for the future prosecution of ICE agents and officials responsible for this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength. I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future. He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I! We have had such tremendous SUCCESS in Washington, D.C., Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana, and virtually every other place that we have \u201ctouched\u201d and, even in Minnesota, Crime is way down, but both Governor Walz and I want to make it better! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Anti-ICE rioters have taken over Minneapolis following the fatal CBP-involved shooting<\/a> of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, who federal officials say pulled a gun on agents during a struggle.<\/p>\n

Anti-ICE rioters immediately began\u00a0clashing with ICE and setting fires<\/a>\u00a0as law enforcement deployed crowd control measures following Pretti\u2019s death. Thousands of anti-ICE rioters established an \u201cautonomous zone<\/a>\u201d after overwhelming Minneapolis police and driving them out of the area.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump responded to the chaos in Minneapolis on Sunday with a list of demands for Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and democratic Mayors and governors across the country.<\/p>\n

Trump further called for Congress to \u201cimmediately pass Legislation to END Sanctuary Cities, which is the root cause of all of these problems.\u201d<\/p>\n
