Ben Bankas is the conservative stand-up comedian that the left loves to hate. If you\u2019re not familiar, he is a very funny guy.<\/a><\/p>\n

As the Gateway Pundit reported a few weeks ago, Bankas was set to do some shows at a Minneapolis comedy club but they canceled his appearance<\/a> due to backlash from the left. Unfortunately for them, the canceled shows had the opposite effect.<\/p>\n

Since then, he has picked up more shows and a ton of new followers.<\/p>\n

He was recently interviewed by Breitbart News:<\/a><\/p>\n

Exclusive \u2014 Comedian Ben Bankas Added More Shows, Gained Fans After Leftist Mobs Tried to Cancel Him over Renee Good Jokes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Breitbart News sat down with comedian Ben Bankas to discuss the left\u2019s attempts to cancel him over his comedy and how those attempts actually grew his brand and his audience\u2026<\/p>\n

Bankas said, \u201cThe cancellation was one venue where we were going to do six shows, no one else canceled in America.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted there was pushback in Canada, which is where he is from originally, and he pointed out, \u201cThey are extremely sensitive to anything that\u2019s offensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Bankas explained that predominant reaction was positive, saying, \u201cWe added hundreds of thousands of new followers. People who already knew who I was but they were like, \u2018Now I really want to follow this guy.\u2019 We actually added way more shows than those six shows that were canceled, and they were added in way more markets.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cIn January 2026 I had, I think, 121 million views on Facebook and on Instagram there were somewhere between 30 and 50 million. So obviously, people like my comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Democrat-liberal thing on all this is, whenever someone is doing well with something they don\u2019t agree with, they make it into this whole thing that it\u2019s evil, it\u2019s bad, when at the end of the day it\u2019s art,\u201d Bankas said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
