The Middle East conflict dramatically escalated early Monday morning after the Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah launched rockets into northern Israel, prompting an immediate and forceful military response from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).<\/p>\n
Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets and drones from southern Lebanon toward Israeli territory, triggering air raid sirens. The IDF reported that at least one rocket was intercepted while others landed in open areas, with no injuries initially reported.<\/p>\n
\u201cFollowing alerts that were activated in several areas in the north of the country, the Air Force intercepted a launch that crossed from Lebanon; individual launches fell according to policy. No injuries or damage were reported,\u201d the Israeli Air Force announced.<\/p>\n
