Former CNN employee Jim Acosta is deeply worried that \u2018partisan hacks\u2019 are taking over the news business. You couldn\u2019t make this up.<\/p>\n

Acosta offered his comments at a hearing set up by California Senator Adam Schiff, which just makes this story even more perfect.<\/p>\n

Acosta is really upset about the fact that the news media is changing and he is being left behind. He claims that CBS News and other outlets are going pro-Trump. That is not happening. Jim just thinks that the news is going right wing if it\u2019s not attacking Trump 24\/7.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe news is broken, we may not be able to put the pieces back together,\u201d former CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta told a packed Burbank City Hall on Friday, warning of the rise of entertainment industry oligarchs and \u201cmedia domination.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to talk about busting up big media,\u201d Acosta insisted. \u201cThis is not America what we\u2019re seeing now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Citing a \u201cdanger to our democracy,\u201d Acosta called Donald Trump\u2019s attacks on the media \u201can assault on our freedom of speech \u2026 taking us down the road of Putin and China to state-controlled media.\u201d An old and constant thorn in Trump\u2019s paw, Acosta certainly had something to say about David Ellison\u2019s pending $111 billion purchase of Warner Bros Discovery \u2013 the owners of CNN.<\/p>\n

Taking a swing at \u201cpartisan hacks\u201d running CBS News and the probability of more job losses like we saw today, and \u201cself-censoring,\u201d the journalist was speaking Friday at Sen. Adam Schiff\u2019s \u201cLights, Camera, Competition\u201d: Promoting American Film Production event in the former home of the Tonight Show.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
