The photos, first obtained by Page Six<\/a> and now blowing up across the internet, show the married Patriots boss hugging, holding hands with fingers interlocked, and relaxing in a hot tub alone with Dianna Russini, a top NFL insider for The Athletic (the sports arm of the failing New York Times).<\/p>\n

A \u2018Page Six spy\u2019 said that Vrabel and Russini spent the day together at the ultra-luxury Ambiente resort in Sedona, Arizona, on March 28th.<\/p>\n

They were spotted having breakfast, lounging poolside, soaking in a private hot tub for nearly an hour, and later heading up to a $2,000-a-night rooftop bungalow with those iconic red rock views.<\/p>\n

Photos show the pair getting very comfortable, hugging tightly and interlocking fingers like a couple on a romantic getaway.<\/p>\n

Page Six<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n

Both Russini and Vrabel insist they were there with friends and say they simply weren\u2019t visible in the pictures. A source close to Russini says she was staying at the hotel during a hiking trip with two female pals. One of Vrabel\u2019s friends told Page Six that they and the coach drove up to Sedona for the day with another pal and that they all drove back to their own hotel, some two hours away, after hanging out with Russini and her gang.<\/p>\n

But three other eyewitnesses told us that they did not see anyone else with Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43. Asked if the Pats coach visited the hotel with a group of friends, one eyewitness said: \u201cNo, he was with a girl.\u201d And our sequence of photographs taken at various points during the day show only Vrabel and Russini.<\/p>\n

Vrabel attended a scouting event at Arizona State University in Tempe on Friday, March 27, before traveling 125 miles to the Ambiente.<\/p>\n

The adults-only Ambiente prides itself on being a romantic getaway, boasting on its website about the 158 proposals that took place and the thousands of anniversaries and honeymoons that have been celebrated at the hotel.<\/p>\n

After being seen with Russini, Vrabel headed to the Biltmore hotel in Phoenix for a\u00a0meeting of the NFL Competition Committee<\/a>, a group of owners and coaches who oversee the game\u2019s rulebook.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Eyewitnesses insisted the two were not part of some larger group, despite the denials now pouring in from both camps.<\/p>\n

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy weighed in after his outlet reportedly tracked down individuals who were present during the Sedona outing.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Thursday, March 26th: Mike Vrabel may have flown into Phoenix Sky Harbor (PSH) the night before Arizona State University\u2019s pro day in Tempe.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Friday, March 27th, morning: Vrabel worked the ASU pro day in Tempe. He was there alongside head coaches John Harbaugh and Kevin Stefanski and executives from thirty-one NFL franchises. The pro day was stacked because the league meetings opened in Phoenix the following Monday.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Friday, March 27th, afternoon: Vrabel may have driven two hours north to Sedona and checked into the Ambiente. The Ambiente is an adults-only boutique resort where private bungalows run up to $2,160 a night. The rooftops are accessible only from the bungalows themselves.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Before Saturday morning: Dianna Russini may have already been at the Ambiente. Her camp says she was on a hiking trip with two female friends. No outlet has reported her check-in date.<\/p>\n

Just last week, Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson,\u00a0quote-tweeted support for Jaden Ivey after Ivey faced backlash for his comments pushing back against the NBA\u2019s forced Pride celebrations.<\/p>\n

Henderson simply posted the Bible verse from Matthew 5:10: \u201cBlessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness\u2019 sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n
