During a recent broadcast, MSNOW pushed the Democrat narrative that Trump is going to try to steal the 2026 midterms, and explained that Senate Democrats are taking the threat so seriously that they\u2019re actually wargaming various scenarios over it.<\/p>\n

Minutes later, the same host talks to another guest and the two of them completely dismiss the very real voter fraud that was recently uncovered in New Jersey, where it was discovered that as many as 4,000 illegal immigrants were registered to vote and that hundreds of them had voted.<\/p>\n

This is an example of something that could only happen on MSNOW.<\/p>\n

The segment opened with correspondent Ali Vitali interviewing House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on his \u201cdoomsday plans\u201d for if Trump made a move against free elections. Vitali summarized Schumer\u2019s concerns:<\/p>\n

Schumer feels there is enough information to go off of from the president\u2019s own statements, not just in recent weeks, but in recent years, casting doubt on elections that Republicans lose. To Schumer\u2019s mind, it says that Democrats have not just an edge going into the midterms, but that they need to be able to have some reflexes to draw upon if there are attempts to sow disinformation or send federal troops to polling places. Those are just some of the fears that he has.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

LEMIRE:<\/strong> He [Trump] got his single best headline on any topic in months when the state of New Jersey had to acknowledge-<\/p>\n

HEILEMANN:<\/strong> Yes, Yes.<\/p>\n

LEMIRE:<\/strong> -that a few hundred voters were noncitizens, were mistakenly added to the voting rolls, and some did. And it was a mix of Republican and independents-<\/p>\n

HEILEMANN:<\/strong> And statistically insignificant. Like not to diminish it and defend it, if anything it breaks the law, and we should be serious and vigilant about making sure that there\u2019s no voter fraud. But-<\/p>\n

LEMIRE:<\/strong> It was a mistake.<\/p>\n

HEILEMANN:<\/strong> -400 votes were cast in, you know, against, against- given the raw vote totals, it\u2019s a statistically insignificant number. And that\u2019s been the case, we\u2019ve seen voter fraud in the history of America, but just not on a scale that\u2019s ever been enough to tip an election.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
