Is anyone actually surprised at this point?<\/p>\n

Tucker Carlson appeared to all but endorse far-left Democrat Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan\u2019s critical U.S. Senate race while launching a blistering attack against President Trump\u2019s endorsed Republican candidate, Mike Rogers.<\/p>\n

During an interview with \u201cBreaking Points\u201d co-host Saagar Enjeti,<\/a> Carlson declared that he would not vote for Rogers \u201cat gunpoint,\u201d accused the former House Intelligence Committee chairman of being a \u201ctool of Israel and the intelligence agencies,\u201d and praised El-Sayed\u2019s newly repackaged campaign as \u201cliterally Trumpian.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint,\u201d Carlson said bluntly.<\/p>\n

Enjeti noted that Rogers lost Michigan\u2019s 2024 Senate race to Democrat Elissa Slotkin even as President Trump carried the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so that\u2019s the candidate,\u201d Enjeti said. \u201cThe guy, a literal loser who lost when Donald Trump won the state, just to show you how much of a headwind he had at his back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlson then unloaded on Rogers.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s basically a tool of Israel and the intelligence agencies,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cHow would you run someone like that? I don\u2019t even\u2014it doesn\u2019t even make sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlson and Enjeti then turned their attention to El-Sayed, a Bernie Sanders-backed progressive who has supported radical left-wing policies, including defunding the police.<\/p>\n

Enjeti openly acknowledged that El-Sayed is a \u201cfull-blown leftist\u201d who previously embraced the \u201cwoke\u201d agenda.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn\u2019t call himself DSA. He\u2019s a full-blown leftist,\u201d Enjeti said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve watched his ideological evolution, who you could easily call, as AOC said, was, quote, \u2018woke one,\u2019 right? Woke one where he said defund the police on a podcast. He said all kinds of silly things about football and masculinity. Standard leftist sh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlson added, \u201cHates Mackinac Island. He\u2019s for vaccine mandates.\u201d<\/p>\n

But instead of warning voters about El-Sayed\u2019s radical record, the pair praised the radical socialist\u2019s campaign for allegedly adopting \u201cAmerica First-style messaging.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI watch his campaign now. It\u2019s America First,\u201d Enjeti said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe stands in front of a giant American flag. It\u2019s almost Trumpian,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Tucker didn\u2019t even hesitate to take the bait, interrupting to gush: \u201cWell, it\u2019s literally Trumpian.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other words, El-Sayed appears to have discovered that wrapping socialism in the American flag and borrowing President Trump\u2019s populist language may be the easiest way to fool Michigan voters.<\/p>\n

Despite acknowledging El-Sayed\u2019s far-left history, Enjeti predicted that the Democrat would defeat Rogers in November.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I had to bet, which I don\u2019t, I would probably bet that he\u2019ll win,\u201d Enjeti said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would think so,\u201d Carlson responded.<\/p>\n

El-Sayed did not suddenly become an America First conservative. He merely learned how to dress up his socialist agenda in populist language.<\/p>\n

The Democrat\u2019s official platform still calls for Medicare for All, taxing billionaire wealth, abolishing the filibuster, making voting easier, and promoting left-wing \u201cLGBTQ+\u201d policies.<\/p>\n

Carlson then delivered another extraordinary attack against the Republican nominee.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no one who should be farther from a position of power than Mike Rogers,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cHow did he get the Republican nomination for Senate?\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlson later called Rogers \u201cthe AIPAC candidate,\u201d while Enjeti praised El-Sayed\u2019s ability to \u201cgo up against AIPAC and to win.\u201d<\/p>\n
