Ohio Democrat gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton and her campaign are going on a rampage after experiencing a nasty October surprise last night.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit\u2019s Jordan Conradson reported<\/a> earlier, Donna Arthur, the estranged mother of Democratic candidate Amy Acton, has come out calling her daughter a \u201cliar\u201d and urging people not to vote for her.<\/p>\n

In a new anti-Acton ad circulating on social media, Arthur is seen telling voters, \u201cdon\u2019t let her become your governor,\u201d and that she\u2019ll make Ohioans\u2019 lives \u201cworse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent \u2014 it\u2019s not easy for a mother to say this, but Amy has a serious problem,\u201d Arthur says in the ad.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She\u2019s lied her entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter needs help, and she can\u2019t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn\u2019t doing that,\u201d she continues.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t vote for people who lie. Don\u2019t let her become your governor. If you think she\u2019ll make your life better, you\u2019re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Acton\u2019s campaign later released<\/a> a statement from the candidate\u2019s brother, Phillip Stearns, which accused her GOP opponent, Vivek Ramaswamy, of using \u201cthe sexual abuse Acton endured from her mother\u2019s husband into a political talking point.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also claimed that their mother stayed married to the alleged r*pist until he died.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not surprising that Vivek Ramaswamy has stooped to such a despicable low as to attempt to turn the sexual abuse Amy endured at twelve years old from our birth mother\u2019s husband into a political talking point,\u201d said Stearns.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter he was arrested and Amy and I were removed from their custody, our birth mother stayed married to Amy\u2019s rapist until he died.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core \u2013 a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Conradson notes<\/a>, Acton says she was neglected as a child after her parents divorced at age three and that \u201cshe lived in 18 different places in a 12-year period, including in a tent one winter, before eventually going to stay with her dad and his relatives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arthur, though, claims Acton is exaggerating or inventing stories about her childhood, including abuse from her stepfather between the ages of 9 and 12.<\/p>\n
