{"id":6604,"date":"2022-09-30T01:08:31","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T01:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=6604"},"modified":"2022-09-30T01:08:31","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T01:08:31","slug":"i-dont-even-know-what-that-is-dem-senator-dianne-feinstein-to-aides-preparing-her-for-vote-on-stopgap-funding-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=6604","title":{"rendered":"\u201cI Don\u2019t Even Know What That Is\u201d \u2013 Dem Senator Dianne Feinstein to Aides Preparing Her For Vote on Stopgap Funding Bill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>89-year-old Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein\u2019s cognitive decline is so bad that she reportedly became angry with staffers who were trying to debrief her on the stopgap funding bill.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t even know what that is,\u201d Feinstein said to her staffers of the stopgap funding bill.<\/p>\n<p>The US Senate on Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2022\/09\/just-senate-passes-stopgap-bill-avert-government-shutdown-funding-bill-includes-12-3-billion-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">passed <\/a>a stopgap funding bill in a 72-25 vote to avert a government shutdown.<\/p>\n<p>The bill, which has to clear both chambers and head to Biden\u2019s desk for a signature before midnight Friday, will fund the government through December 16.<\/p>\n<p>The funding bill also includes $12.3 billion for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Feinstein voted \u2018yay\u2019 on the bill even though she told her aides she had no idea what the stopgap funding bill is.<\/p>\n<p>Business Insider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/sen-dianne-feinstein-chides-staffers-as-they-race-to-prep-her-for-stopgap-government-funding-vote-i-don-t-even-know-what-that-is\/ar-AA12px1l#image=AA12ppu4%7C3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein grew frustrated with staffers trying to prep her for what\u2019s become a routine Senate vote on Thursday, blurting out \u201cI don\u2019t even know what that is\u201d after aides asked if she had questions about the latest stopgap funding bill.<\/p>\n<p>The internal discussion, which took place along a bank of elevators in the Senate basement and was loud enough for Insider to overhear, bubbled over into outrage as Feinstein struggled to get her bearings before the midafternoon vote.<\/p>\n<p>As they escorted her from the Senate subway to the elevators that whisk lawmakers to within steps of the chamber on the second floor, Feinstein\u2019s aides tried to explain the pending issue to the 89-year-old California Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a vote on the continuing resolution. Do you have any questions about it?\u201d a male staffer said right before Feinstein snapped at him.
