“Students at Pennsylvania Western University’s California campus in California, Pennsylvania, defaced Turning Point USA flyers with vulgar and violent messages on April 23” as was reported by Campus Reform.
According to the report, conservative and pro-life activist Savannah Craven was tabling with students from that school’s TPUSA chapter.
Students called for Craven to be slapped and used a disparaging word as well on the group’s materials.
This is referencing a previous act of political violence where Craven was hit by someone during a street interview.
The Gateway Pundit reported that a pro-abortion extremist, Brianna Rivers, attacked Craven in Harlem last spring.
Despite being punched repeatedly in the face, and in yet another glaring example of the radical left’s two-tiered justice system, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dismissed all charges against the attacker.
What started as a felony assault charge was downgraded to a mere misdemeanor and then quietly dropped entirely, leaving victims of leftist violence without recourse while criminals roam free.
The recent incident comes after numerous threats and acts of political violence targeting conservatives.
In an Instagram video posted by Frontline TPUSA, one student told Craven, “I am allowed to disagree with you and I’m allowed to be disrespectful to you in any way that I want.”
The same student also said she would have slapped Craven if given the opportunity. TPUSA members later confronted the students involved, who defended both the vandalism and their comments, according to the video.”
TPUSA member Alexis Wieland told The Cal Times, “”Most times, we are met with our flyers being taken down, being flipped off, or called disgusting names.”
“This encounter was much more intense.”
It’s tragic that the Left continues to engage in demonization rather than partaking in a civil discussion or exchange of ideas.
TPUSA members rightly argue that the threatening students’ actions violated the student code of conduct at this college.
The student code of conduct explicitly prohibits “intentional, reckless and/or unauthorized damage, destruction or defacement” of another person’s property.
PennWest California, like many universities, is mostly liberal or very liberal, contributing to the persecution of conservative viewpoints.
Sadly, universities are not only not doing enough to end persecution of conservative and pro-life groups, but they are also often in the business of liberal indoctrination.
